Beth Weimer

Client & Project Coordinator

Beth grew up in the Quad Cities area and came to Peoria to attend Bradley University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with minors in Journalism and French. She pursued employment with nonprofit organizations and developed a strong connection with the Peoria community through seven years of social work as an advocate for individuals and families experiencing homelessness and domestic violence. She has also worked in library services, most recently providing outreach and public relations for the Reaching Across Illinois Library System’s Talking Book and Braille Service for individuals with visual and physical impairments throughout the state. Beth joined the CIBP team in September 2017 and is enjoying the opportunity to work in publishing. In her free time, she volunteers heavily with the Yaku Peoria nonprofit arts organization, dabbles in photography, and tends to a particularly demanding little cat.
