As senior vice president of business services at Illinois National Bank, Alyssa R. Herman serves among the leadership of a locally owned, privately held bank with assets of approximately $1 billion and 13 branches across central Illinois. In her recent role as vice president and relationship manager for the Central Illinois Region at PNC Bank, she worked primarily with privately held companies in a wide range of industries. Upon being promoted last year, she made it her goal to bring people together for collaboration—developing and organizing the Leadership Roundtable series, assisting in the development of the John Maxwell Live2Lead Leadership series, and leading countless other internal leadership groups and committees.

Passionate about autism awareness and early intervention, Herman serves as treasurer for the Central Illinois Autism Association. She is also a committee member for the Easterseals Foundation Fiscal Committee and board president of the Peoria County Care and Treatment of Persons with a Developmental Disability, which provides for the well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities. She is a board member of the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce and grant reviewer for the Heart of Illinois United Way, staying engaged in the community through the United Way’s Generation United organization for young professionals.

An Illinois State University graduate with a bachelor’s degree in finance, Herman also holds an MBA from ISU. In 2015, she earned the Certified Treasury Professional designation from the Association of Financial Professionals. During her time at PNC, Herman earned the Market All-Star designation in 2014, 2016, 2017 and 2018—an accomplishment unmatched within the organization.

Outside of her work and volunteer commitments, Herman stays busy with her husband, two young children and two dogs. She enjoys scrapbooking, camping, boating, fishing and playing baseball with her boys. iBi
